 NIGERIA - NIGERIA STABILITY AND RECONCILIATION PROGRAMME

The Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme (NSRP) is supported by DFID/UKAID and is managed by a consortium made up of British Council, International Alert and Social Development Direct. The programme seeks to deliver interventions to reduce the impacts of violent conflict and promote reconciliation processes. The focus will be on the national level and in eight focal states.

NSRP is looking for committed and experienced individuals to join the senior technical team of this innovative and exciting programme. Experience of working on programmes in conflict-affected environments, either in Nigeria or other countries, is imperative for all posts. All post holders will be based in Abuja but will make frequent visits to NSRP’s regional offices in Maiduguri, Kano, Jos and Port Harcourt and to all the focal states.

Established in 1915 with Helen Keller as a founding trustee, Helen Keller International (HKI) works to save the sight and lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged. Headquartered in New York City, HKI currently conducts programs in 22 countries in Africa and Asia as well as in the United States. We combat the causes and consequences of blindness and malnutrition by establishing programs based on evidence and research in vision, health and nutrition. HKI began working in Nigeria in June 1999 and its programs benefit over 11 million people. Current programs include Vitamin A Supplementation, Infant and young child feeding and Neglected Tropical Disease Control.

NUTRITION PROGRAM OFFICER
Minimum of Master degree in nutrition or public health (Nutrition)
Minimum of 2 years experience

MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER
Minimum of Master of Public Health in Epidemiology, MSC in Biostatistics, MSC in Statistics or in any other related field
Minimum of 2 years experience

NEGLECTED TROPICAL DISEASE PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Minimum of Master degree in microbiology, parasitology, entomology or similar field; medicine or health related field
Master of public health.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience

NUTRITION PROGRAM OFFICER (SPRING PROJECT)

MINIMUM OF MASTER IN PUBLIC HEALTH (NUTRITION)
Minimum of 2 years experience Minimum of 3-5 years experience
